Good morning my fellow Pinquettes, Pinquette Mary here as a Guest Designer with a very special card to share with you today and of course I have a wonderful way to embellish a card with the Angel Stick pin from Pinque Peacock.
We have some Anniversaries as well as Birthdays coming up in the next few months so I thought I'd get a head start. Our oldest son and his wife will be celebrating their 12th Anniversary this year so I thought I better make them a card. This year I am bound and determined to make something beautiful challenging myself to use just scraps and supplies that are just hanging around. Here is where I started:

First, I had a few blank cards I had cut a long time ago with a cut file from Diane Payne Campbell aka Capadiadesigns.com. She is a genius at making her own cut backgrounds. I also found a scrap cardstock, stickers and an Angel Stick pin.  I love this quote since it seems so appropriate after you have been married for a number of years. I didn't want anything too mushy just a reminder of where they were 12 years ago and not to lose those feelings. I also love these colors. She is from Ireland and they got married March 16th the day before St Patrick's Day so I try to avoid green, lol. This is what I created:

Okay so I found another piece of scrap paper that matched the velum quote perfectly. I also had this great epoxy sticker that also went beautifully. I know they are going to love this.
I have one fabulous memory of their Wedding day. My son is 6'2" and my DIL is 4"11". No matter how tall the shoes are that she wears she still does not come close to his height! Anyways, at the reception and before we were all introduced I heard my son calling my DIL Mrs. Marshmallow??? He would not stop and we couldn't figure out where he got this name. When I asked him, he turned to her and said "Mrs. Marshmallow, show them, at which point in her very puffy Wedding dress she proceeded to "melt" to the floor. My son turned to us and said "tell me she doesn't look like a melted marshmallow on a s'more!" Needless to say as we were all introduced we were in hysterics. I still laugh when I think of that moment!!!
Do you have a funny memory of a wedding? If so I'd love to hear about it. Until next time, be safe and stop to enjoy life a little and while you're at it, be sure to visit the Pinque Peacock Store HERE where you can pick up these great stick pins as well as other amazing products.
