Nashville Hardrock Cafe-Yee Haw!

Pinque Peacock
Hi everyone I am back!!! I hope you all had a chance to join our  A Pirate's Life Hop this past weekend. I am so blessed to be on such a talented Design Team with such creative people. Jessica is so generous with us and today I am going to show you what you can do with one of her fabulous fabric covered buttons.

What would you create if you won some of this "Pirate Booty"?
My hubby and I were fortunate enough to go to a convention in Nashville Tennessee this past August and one of the places the company booked for our last night was on the waterfront . We went to BB King's, the Waterfront Saloon and the Hardrock Cafe. Since my husband will be retiring really soon we have been racking our brains as to what he should do in his retirement. I am always busy but he needs to have a Hobby. It finally dawned on him while we were eating....he should take up the guitar. I agree as long as it is acoustical, lol. So I decided to scrap at least this stop on our itinerary keeping in mind his future goal.

As you can see we were surrounded by Guitars. Actually the company gave away a Kenny Chesney guitar (no Fran did not win!).
After I had glued my pics down I had this brainstorm to add guitar strings but they didn't show up too well so I used some metallic cording instead and used this fabulous button to hold them all together. The other embellishments are from me & my Big ideas. I am so glad I hold onto my scraps. The yellow/gold cardstock was left over from some flowers I made for a custom order this Summer. Quick and easy!!!!

That's all I have to show you today. I hope you gained a few inspirations today and that you will visit the Superb, spectacular, and ever popular Pinque Peacock Shop.
Hope you have a great week!!!!!

Hi, Mary!!! That's some great page and I'm sure it's an inspiration to the hubby to want to hurry to retire so he can start his hobby!!! I think you're a brave woman because if it were my hubby I think I'd have to run away during his practice sessions... lol I'm kind of glad his hobby is sitting in front of his computer and/or TV -- nice and quiet... lol!!!

Hugs, my sweet friend!

Awesome layout. I love the idea of using the guitar strings that would have been awesome but the cord will work too. TFS AJ-
