Pinquette Mary here and I can't believe the talent on this Team. I'm impressed, aren't you? I have a simple, understated yet meaningful card to share with you today this last day of the Hop. But first, if you came from the ever talented Amanda then you are in the right place. We wouldn't want you to miss a thing! Now on to my project.

Did you know that Jessica carries a great selection of papers in the Shop? Well she does! These blue and lavender cardstock were part of my Design Team packet and I thought they were perfect for my Easter card which happens to be our theme this month. Luckily I also had some of this fabulous 3 Girl Jam crinkle ribbon to match! I really don't like too much on my Religious cards so I thought the silhouette should be my focal point. The image is cut from the Cricut cart Inspired Hearts and I just love these simple images. Of course I did have to dress it up a bit so I decided to add a touch of embossing and a simple stamp from Studio G. The flower and silk leaves are left over from some bracelets I made for a Father/Daughter dance. I couldn't believe how sweet it looks here.
I love using Pinque Peacock products but I can't believe the texture on this paper and how beautifully it embosses.
Be sure to hop on over to the store on Facebook and check out all the wonderful products the Team has used for their awesome projects. Hop hop hop, Easter's coming and you have plenty of time to create!!!!

American Girl Doll Mini Album

My Creative Classroom has a color challenge that I just fell in love with. The colors are hot pink, orange and green. Since the next project I was about to start was for a mini album for my grand daughter's birthday, these colors helped me get a start. I just love taking these on line classes. They are reasonably priced, offer a wide variety of courses, and the best part is that you can go at your own pace.
Over Christmas they went to New York for a mini vacation before the holidays and let her pick out her big present. Of course they went to the American Girl Doll store. Thus, AJ was born, lol. It reminds me of my girls when they got Cabbage Patch dolls for Christmas!
This was done using Spellbinders Grand die cut. I was a little nervous to use my bind it all on this shape but it worked out perfectly. The tags were from Provo craft cuttlebug folder. I also added some smooch spritz as well as distress inks to the edges. The edges were all finished using a Zig paint pen, love how these finish off the edges.  Off to finish the inside pages that I'll share with you later!!

Fun Flock Lion

I just love this card! The challenge for the week @ Cricut Circle Blog was to create something with rich fall colors. The palette was gray, orange, burgundy and brown. You also had to use at least 2 cuts and add texture. That's right at my alley!
I started with my French Manor cartridge and cut the lion "door knocker" out of tan and chocolate brown card stock. Then I ran it through the xyron both side. After layering the pieces I added fun flock for the lions mane and chalk for his features, and a small piece of metallic gray card stock for the mouth and eyes.
The medallion is also from French Manor. I used the negative pieces as well to accent the greeting.
The base of the card is layered with tan, brown and orange card stock. I embossed the top piece with a folder from the Asian bundle and ran it through my CB. The greeting is from a M's stamp in the dollar bin and layered on burgundy card stock.
