Peachy Keen Girls!

This week there have been some great challenges, at least for me anyway! Peachy Keen Stamps are incredible acrylic stamps with faces to fit Provocrafts' Paperdolls, their winter collection for snowmen and now for little critters!
I loved the sketch they used this week and thought what fun to use the film strip from Mickey and Friends. I cut it at 4.27 wide and 1.87 high. When I placed it on the mat on my gypsy. I positioned it so only 3 frames showed rather than the 4 that are in the image. By placing it off the mat, your cricut will only cut that which is physically on the mat (how cool is that!)

The faces are cut @ 1.92 ( makes them fit perfectly in the frame). I cut the nurses hat@ 2.25, the chef's hat @1.74 and the regular hat @ 1.74. The faces were all stamped with Peachy Keen Stamps then blush added to the cheeks. I always like to add a small speck of white to the eyes to bring them to "life" but, working on such small pieces, I think they have too much sparkle, lol! I cut the ovals from nestabilities and inked the edges with ColorBox inks. The sentiment is from a stamp by Inkadinkado. I used just the verse and not the image. Unfortunately part of the stamp picked up some ink and caused a line under the "you". Rather than try to correct this (it happened on 3 samples as well) I decided to go with it and make a statement!
The paper is from K&Company cut 'n paste Mat Pad. I just love her collections. Most of the papers are doubled sided so it makes it real easy to co-ordinate patterns. By now you know I love bling so I added some ciao copic sparkle to the ladies hair and rhinestones for some glitz. Now I just have to find the right person who serves as: cook, nurse and all around woman who might be in need of a Thank You!
